per nightSituated at Ramsgate Beach on a hill overlooking the sand and breakers, Ramsgate Palms is a modern, very secure complex, with direct access onto the main beach, a swimming pool, and set amongst palms in a tropical setting with a stream and hideaways in the beautiful gardens. It is a stroll away from a selection of eateries, bars and cocktail decks on the Blue Flag beach which has lifeguards, pedal boats and canoes to explore the lagoon, a curio and craft market, and seasonal entertainment.
This first floor apartment offers great views - watch your children playing on the beach from your balcony. Bright and sunny, it is neat as a pin and well appointed. The airy, open plan living area blends a fully equipped granite kitchen, a comfortable lounge with flatscreen satellite television, onto a covered balcony with a gas braai. The main bedroom, with a double bed, has lovely sea views and the second bedroom has two single beds. They are serviced by a modern washroom with a shower. There are laundry facilities in the complex.
The unit accommodates four guests and there is covered parking bay for one vehicle only. Linen is provided for the beds but guests are required to provide their own beach and bath towels. The unit is not serviced unless by arrangement.
Everything you'll need is within walking distance, but the local area offers an abundance of attractions and activities. With nine world class courses the area is popular with golfers; scuba divers flock to our world famous reefs and wrecks; and families charter ocean safaris, deep sea fishing or shark cage diving trips. The magnificent Oribi Gorge, a 400m deep and 5km wide canyon, offers spectacular view sites and game drives, as well as a host of adrenalin activities including the world's highest bungi swing and world's first 'straight-down' 1km zipline, abseiling down a waterfall, white water rafting, suspension bridges, downhill scooter tours, horse riding and 4X4. The Wild Coast Sun Casino is home to a water theme park with some of the world's fastest rides and their river club offers water skiing, jet skis, speedboats, tube rides and booze cruises. We have butterfly, snake and crocodile farms with the world's oldest croc; the world's smallest desert; the only approved motor racing and drifting circuit in the province; and our local airport offers daily flights to Johannesburg and scenic helicopter flips over the area and adjacent wild coast. But most people visit simply for our perpetual warm weather and shark protected, world-class Blue Flag status beaches and lagoons with canoes, pedal boats, umbrellas and beach chairs for hire; and ice cream, cocktails and curios for sale. Host to the famous Sardine Run, the annual Bike Week spectacle and revolving beach events, there is never a dull moment on the Hibiscus Coast. Whether you are looking for a relaxing beach holiday, an adrenalin filled escapade, or a wining, dining, clubbing and pubbing shindig, the Hibiscus Coast offers it all, and more.
