Located in front of the newly refurbished fishing pier with 180 degree sea views towards Margate main beach, Mahe is ideally located a short walking distance to a wide selection of local and franchise eateries, pubs and cocktail bars, clubs and nightlife, and of course the famous Margate main beach, a favourite with holidaymakers.  The kilometre long beach with paddle and olympic swimming pools is host to seasonal beach events, live music, and is a hive of activity and entertainment.  The modern complex has lawns for the children to play amongst a communal braai area and a rooftop swimming pool, also with covered braai facilities.  

This unit at Mahe is in the front of the stepped building and enjoys 180 degree sea views from the third floor, but conveniently your parking garage is on the same level, avoiding any stairs.  The three bedroom, air conditioned unit is sunny, bright and spacious and is well appointed with modern finishes and artwork completing the beach holiday feel. 

The modern kitchen is fully equipped with all your day to day cooking amenities and includes a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer to make your stay all the more comfortable.  It is open plan to dining suite and comfortable lounge area with a flat screen television with full Premium DSTV and DVD player.  The air conditioned living area opens through sliding doors to a balcony with el-fresco dining suite, gas braai and magnificent views of the Margate fishing pier below and the beach to the north.  

Six guests are comfortably accommodated in three bedrooms serviced by two modern bathrooms - the main bedroom with sea views has an air conditioner and an en-suite bathroom with a massage function shower, the second bedroom (with double bed) and third bedroom (two singles) are serviced by a second modern bathroom (with bath) and all rooms have ceiling fans. 

The complex is secure with remote controlled gates and the unit is allocated a double lock up garage. All linen is provided but please bring your own beach and bath towels.  The unit is not serviced unless by arrangement. 

Situated 130km south of Durban, the area offers an abundance of attractions and activities.  With nine world class courses the area is popular with golfers;  scuba divers flock to our world famous reefs and wrecks;  and families charter ocean safaris, deep sea fishing or shark cage diving trips.  The magnificent Oribi Gorge, a 400m deep and 5km wide canyon, offers spectacular view sites and game drives, as well as a host of adrenalin activities including the world's highest bungi swing and world's first 'straight-down' 1km zipline, abseiling down a waterfall, white water rafting, suspension bridges, downhill scooter tours, horse riding and 4X4.  The Wild Coast Sun Casino is home to a water theme park with some of the world's fastest rides and their river club offers water skiing, jet skis, speedboats, tube rides and booze cruises.  We have and butterfly, snake and crocodile farms with the world's oldest croc;  the world's smallest desert; the only approved motor racing and drifting circuit in the province; and our local airport offers daily flights to Johannesburg and scenic helicopter flips over the area and adjacent wild coast.  But most people visit simply for our perpetual warm weather and shark protected, world-class Blue Flag status beaches and lagoons with canoes, pedal boats, umbrellas and beach chairs for hire; and ice cream, cocktails and curios for sale.  Host to the famous Sardine Run, the annual Bike Week spectacle and revolving beach events, there is never a dull moment on the Hibiscus Coast.
