Property description

The Stafford Place complex is ideally located in the heart of Uvongo village, just a stone's throw from sea and a selection of shops, restaurants and bars. It is well maintained and has a sparkling pool and lawns for kids to play. It is a quick walk (400m) to the popular Uvongo beach with its beautiful gorge and waterfall into a serene lagoon, favoured for its sheltered location between the cliffs and paddleboat/canoe rides to the waterfall.  It has both fresh and tidal swimming pools, a restaurant, ice-cream parlour and takeaway, and is protected by a lifeguard tower and shark nets. 

This air-conditioned, well appointed unit is conveniently situated on the ground floor, close to the swimming pool, and is comfortably furnished with every amenity you could require. It sleeps six guest in two bedrooms - the main with double bed, aircon and sliding doors to the courtyard ; the second bedroom with two single beds and aircon ; and a double sleeper couch in the lounge.  The full bathroom has both a bath and a shower. 

The kitchen is open plan to the lounge and is fully equipped with all your day-to-day cooking requirements, as well a washing machine, tumble-dryer and dishwasher.  The living area has a dining table and comfortable seating for everyone, and there is a television with DVD player and DSTV decoder with the Family bouquet.  The lounge leads through sliding doors to a small courtyard garden and patio which is partly covered and has a built in braai and patio suite. 

The unit has burglar bars and trellisdoors throughout for your safety and peace of mind and the complex has an electric fence and remote controlled gate access.   There is an undercover parking bay for one vehicle in front of the unit.  Linen is provided for the beds but guests are required to provide their own beach and bath towels.  The unit is not serviced unless by arrangement. 

The local area offers an abundance of attractions and activities.  With nine world class courses the Hibiscus Coast is popular with golfers;  scuba divers flock to our world famous reefs and wrecks;  and families charter ocean safaris, deep sea fishing or shark cage diving trips.  The magnificent Oribi Gorge, a 400m deep and 5km wide canyon, offers spectacular view sites and game drives, as well as a host of adrenalin activities including the world's highest bungi swing and world's first 'straight-down' 1km zipline, abseiling down a waterfall, white water rafting, suspension bridges, downhill scooter tours, horse riding and 4X4.  The Wild Coast Sun Casino is home to a water theme park with some of the world's fastest rides and their river club offers water skiing, jet skis, speedboats, tube rides and booze cruises.  We have butterfly, snake and crocodile farms with the world's oldest croc;  the world's smallest desert; the only approved motor racing and drifting circuit in the province; and our local airport offers daily flights to Johannesburg and scenic helicopter flips over the area and adjacent wild coast.  But most people visit simply for our perpetual warm weather and shark protected, world-class Blue Flag status beaches and lagoons with canoes, pedal boats, umbrellas and beach chairs for hire; and ice cream, cocktails and curios for sale.  Host to the famous Sardine Run, the annual Bike Week spectacle and revolving beach events, there is never a dull moment on the Hibiscus Coast.
